Allowed is broad. Recognized is precise.

Roblox’s FastFlag allowlist controls which keys Player may read from the standard local configuration file. It does not approve every value, every preset, or another method that forces the same setting.

Current answer: an exact allowlisted key in ClientAppSettings.json stays inside Roblox’s documented local path. A missing key is ignored. IXP, memory editing, injectors, and other bypass routes are outside that answer.

Three outcomes, not one “safe” label.

The location of the change matters as much as the key. Roblox Staff has drawn a clear distinction between an ignored entry in the local file and an attempt to set flags through another method.

01 · LISTED

Eligible for local recognition

The exact key appears on Roblox’s live list and is written through ClientAppSettings.json. The value may be read after Player restarts.

02 · ABSENT

Ignored without further action

Roblox says a non-allowlisted key left in the same file has no effect and does not itself produce consequences.

03 · OTHER METHOD

Outside the allowlist boundary

Memory writes, injectors, IXP cache changes, or another setter are not made acceptable because the desired key once existed.

Classify the method before the flag.

Choose where the value is set and whether the exact key appears on the current list. The output describes Roblox’s published boundary; it does not change any files.

1 · Where is it set?
2 · Is the exact key listed?
Eligible for recognition

The key is inside Roblox’s documented local path.

An exact key on the live list may be recognized from ClientAppSettings.json. That says nothing about whether the chosen value is sensible, effective, permanent, or guaranteed against unrelated enforcement.

Player resultMay read the value after a full restart.
Next actionValidate the value and test one change.

Five words that are not interchangeable.

Most misleading FastFlag advice collapses all five into “allowed.” Keeping them separate prevents both false reassurance and unnecessary alarm.

What it actually means
What it does not prove
Allowlisted
The exact key appears on Roblox’s current local list.
A particular value is correct.
Recognized
Player accepts the key from the standard local file.
A visible or useful effect occurs.
Ignored
The local entry is skipped and has no effect.
A bypass is needed or permitted.
“Safe”
A broad prediction no third-party page can guarantee.
Future policy or all account behavior.
Bypass
Another mechanism attempts to defeat the local restriction.
Permission from the old flag name.

The editor writes. Roblox decides.

A successful save is evidence that Luczystrap wrote JSON. Only Roblox Player can determine whether the key is recognized, ignored, or removed from the list later.

What Luczystrap can do

The ordinary editor manages local configuration and helps organize values.

  • +Write a key and JSON value to the expected local file.
  • +Import, edit, remove, reset, and group local settings.
  • +Help you compare a name against the dated 18-key snapshot.

What the editor cannot prove

The product interface is not a Roblox policy authority or an effect test.

  • ×It cannot make a missing key part of Roblox’s live allowlist.
  • ×It cannot guarantee FPS, latency, visuals, or client stability.
  • ×It cannot turn IXP, memory editing, or an injector into the local file path.

A four-step policy check.

Roblox can alter the allowlist without warning. Repeat this short check when importing an old preset, after a Roblox update, or when a setting stops producing the expected result.

An ignored key is the end of the local path.

Do not follow instructions that move it into IXP, write it into Roblox memory, inject it at runtime, or promise to “restore every FastFlag.” Roblox Staff says other methods are subject to consequences.

The wording stays intentionally narrow: list status, file path, Player result, and enforcement risk are separate questions.

The announcement controls the list.

The live Roblox post defines the recognized keys. Named Staff replies clarify the difference between an ignored local entry and another method that changes flags.

Checked August 5, 2026. The live announcement still displays 18 keys: four geometry, thirteen rendering, and one user-interface entry. Roblox may change the list without prior notice. Luczystrap is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially supported by Roblox Corporation.
